Dainty Doll Review. #1

Liquid Foundation #003

When I was wanting to buy this foundation and finally found it Boots, in Manchester, I was so happy. Not being able to find the shade that I needed for my pale and red hair before, I was lucky that it was Christmas.

Firstly, it has 4 different shades, #001 being very light and #004 being “dark” even though it was still pale. I thought the shades varied very well within the Pale Foundation market.

When I tried this foundation, I thought, for £22, it has to be good and it’s great. I do normally prefer mousse foundation but because no mousse foundations did my shade, I had to get the liquid foundation and it’s converted me back to liquid foundation all together. It says it should blend well and it does that exactly. It is a little bit thick and doesn’t give the coverage that I need but it’s still very good.

Even though I got the 3rd darkest shade in the foundation, it is still very pale, but it is a little darker than my skin colour, so I would of done better off with the second darkest shade, which I will be getting next time.

I sampled all of the shades and they were all very pale and shade #004 had a very yellow colour in it, but when it is on your face, properly, it did go to a normal skin colour, without having any yellow tones on.

This is the third darkest shade (#003) and as you can see, it is still a very pale colour.

This is me, with the Dainty Doll Liquid Foundation, Shade #003 and the Daint Doll Blusher, Shade #003.
